How to choose an at-home wellness device
REVO by Revomadic makes rechargeable devices for at-home routines: smart cupping cups, a smart wand, a vibration plate, a body sculptor and the Face Genie LED skincare device.
What to look for
- What you want to use it for. Smart cups and the wand are for muscle relaxation after exercise or long days. The vibration plate is a fitness tool. The Face Genie is a skincare device.
- Settings you can control. Look for adjustable suction, heat or vibration levels so you can start gently and work up.
- Bundle or single device. A two-cup kit or bundle covers the back and shoulders at once and often costs less than buying the pieces separately.
- Battery and charging. Rechargeable, cordless devices are easier to use around the house and to travel with; check the run time per charge.
- Cleaning. Choose devices you can wipe clean easily, especially anything that touches your skin.
Our article on smart cupping at home explains how cupping devices work and how to use them safely. If you are pregnant, have a medical condition, a pacemaker or broken skin, check with your doctor before using any device like these.
Before you buy
Start with one device that matches the routine you'll actually keep. If you want relief for a stiff back after the gym, a single smart cup or a two-cup kit is the simplest place to begin; if your goal is skincare, the Face Genie is the more relevant pick. Read the instructions for session length before your first use, keep sessions short at first, and charge the device fully before you start. Prices shown are REVO's starting prices and can change.
